Cumberland County and the city of Portland will conduct a virtual public meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 8, to discuss ways federal funds can be used to reduce homelessness and increase housing stability.
The city and county have been awarded $3.5 million in American Rescue Plan funds through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s HOME Investment Partnerships Program.
They are seeking public feedback to help guide recommendations for providing housing and support services to people who are at risk of homelessness.
The 6 p.m. meeting will be accessible via Zoom or by phone at 646-558-8656.
