These Viewpoint pages will provide a forum for a diverse array of opinions and columnists.
While we will have regular contributors, like columnist Al Diamon, we will also be introducing several other writers in the coming weeks.
These writers of course have their own points of view, and don’t necessarily represent the opinions of this newspaper, or its editors. Those will be presented in editorials, which remain unsigned. And these are not meant as oracular pronouncements, but as perspectives offered to further stimulate discussion of important issues.
The editors also intend to make election endorsements, which will share our observations after coverage of the candidates.
But mostly, we would love to hear from you. We welcome letters to the editor; please see the instructions below, remembering always that brevity is the soul of wit, and that shorter letters can bring a wider readership. We will also consider longer, timely opinion pieces, or op-eds, when appropriate.
For the moment, we will not be inviting comments on our website. If you don’t want to write a letter, you can also just send us feedback at firstname.lastname@example.org.
