The July 1 edition of the Portland Phoenix was filled with a wide variety of interesting articles ranging from the culinary delights prepared by a local pastry chef to the unfortunate woes troubling the Maine Department of Health and Human Services. Your articles captured diverse topics not focusing on any singular or particular theme, which I find refreshing. I’ve concluded the Phoenix is a completely enjoyable newspaper. Of course, taking the time to more thoroughly read each and every article adds to this enjoyment. Knowing there would not be a July 8 edition, I read the July 1 edition from front to back and am still not ready to recycle it. I’ll recycle it when I lay eyes on the July 15 edition.
